Taurus Engineering’s Quality Control Standards Policy is to provide service and equipment which consistently satisfies and exceeds the needs and expectations of its customers.
This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures that reflect the competence of the Company to existing customers, potential customers, and independent auditing authorities.
Achievement of this policy involves all staff, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work, resulting in a continually improving working environment for all.
To achieve and maintain the required level of assurance the Managing Director retains responsibility for the Quality System with routine operation controlled by Quality Managers.
This system includes but is not limited to the following Quality Standards, Testing Practices, and Equipment Certifications:
Taurus Engineering’s Quality Control Process is divided into three separate processes, ensuring that specialized expertise is applied to each stage of its operation. This system also provides the redundancy necessary to prevent any quality problem from evading detection. These processes are Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA).
Incoming Quality Control (IQC) insures that all incoming material is inspected and tested to Taurus’ Standards and insures it is suitable to be used to manufacture Taurus products.
The below Inspection records are required/kept by Taurus to verify the quality control processes of incoming material:
In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) directs Taurus’ quality systems during the assembly process in order to detect and handle any problems that may arise during assembly.
The below reports and verification documents are used by Taurus to verify quality control and standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process:
Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) is performed as the final steps before equipment is shipped and includes numerous redundancies from the IQC and IPQC processes to ensure the validity of the previous processes.
The below QC records are performed/kept by Taurus to maintain quality control for assemblies before they ship:
